Plain English Summary: Nidra is free to use forever. Premium features come with a 30-day trial, after which you can continue using the free version or purchase a license for premium features. Don't use it for anything illegal. We provide the software "as is" and aren't liable if something goes wrong. We respect your privacy and keep your data local.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Nidra ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you ("User", "you") and GlacierLens ("we", "us", "our").
2. License Grant
Free Version
Nidra is free to use with core features available at no cost. The free version includes all essential API testing functionality and can be used indefinitely without payment.
Premium Features
Premium features come with a 30-day free trial. After the trial period ends, you will continue to have access to the free version, or you can purchase a license to unlock premium features. License types and pricing are available at nidra.dev. Licenses are:
- Personal: For individual use by a single person
- Team: For use by multiple people within an organization
- Enterprise: For large organizations with custom requirements
License Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Software
- Share your license key with others
- Use the Software to violate any laws or regulations
3. Beta Software Disclaimer
Nidra is currently in public beta. This means:
- The Software may contain bugs, errors, or unexpected behavior
- Features may change or be removed without notice
- We may reset or modify trial periods during beta
- Data formats may change, requiring migration of saved collections
While we strive for stability, we recommend backing up your API collections regularly during the beta period.
4. Privacy and Data
Nidra is built on a local-first architecture:
- Your API requests, responses, and collections are stored exclusively on your machine
- We do NOT have access to your API endpoints, credentials, or request data
- We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the product (see our Privacy Policy)
- License verification requires periodic internet connectivity (every 14 days)

5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Nidra only for lawful purposes. You may NOT use the Software to:
- Test or attack systems you don't own or have permission to test
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security measures without authorization
- Generate excessive load on third-party APIs without permission
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Facilitate or enable any illegal activity
Violation of acceptable use may result in immediate license termination without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
GlacierLens retains all rights, title, and interest in Nidra, including all intellectual property rights. These Terms do not grant you any ownership of the Software—only a limited license to use it under the terms specified.
The Nidra name, logo, and branding are trademarks of GlacierLens and may not be used without permission.
7. Payments and Refunds
Billing
Paid licenses are billed according to the plan you select (monthly or annual). Payment is processed through our payment provider (Stripe).
Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time purchases. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
Refunds are not available for:
- Renewals (cancel before renewal date to avoid charges)
- Purchases older than 30 days
- Violations of these Terms or acceptable use
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Software until that date.
8. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any data
You use the Software at your own risk. We do not guarantee that it will meet your requirements or work without issues.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- GlacierLens is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software
- This includes data loss, lost profits, business interruption, or any other damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software in the 12 months prior to the claim
Important: Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury or certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, these limitations may not apply to you.
10. Termination
We may terminate your license if:
- You violate these Terms or our acceptable use policy
- Your payment fails or you do not renew your license
- We discontinue the Software (with reasonable notice)
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Software immediately ends
- You must uninstall the Software and delete all copies
- Your locally stored data remains on your machine (but the Software will not run)
11. Updates and Modifications
Software Updates
We may release updates, bug fixes, and new versions of the Software. Updates may be installed automatically or require manual installation. Continued use of the Software after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we'll:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify you via in-app notification or email (if subscribed)
Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Export Restrictions
The Software may be subject to export control laws in the United States and other countries. You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws when using or distributing the Software.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GlacierLens regarding the Software and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
